Meddlesome people

I think the best way to get meddlesome people to back off is to just ask them to. If they don't then ask them again with a little more force. Make it clear in a nice way that your business is your business, not theirs.

Ebay

It seems I have become slightly addicted to eBay. Its so much fun. and it gets me money. Can it get any better? I'm currently looking around the house for stuff to sell. I'm hoping to sell enough stuff to get another Xbox. The one we had broke. Which stinks 'cause i just bought a game for it. so far I've sold two things with another listed right now. I want to go through the shed and clear a bunch of the stuff out. Then I'm gonna hit the house. maybe I can sell enough of this junk that we can actually have a house that doesn't still have a bunch of unpacked boxes in it. Listing stuff is pretty simple. You put a title in, which basically tells what your selling in a short description. then you put a picture of your item up. Then you can add a more detailed description of the item. Then you put in your shipping info and payment methods and things like that. Then you can decide what you want the bidding to start at and weather or not to put a buy it now price. Then you hit the save and preview button and then hit list.

Trophys!

I would totally freak out if we won first place at state and first and nationals. That would be the highlight of the season. State is a middle school thing. Its the state tournament down in Carlton Texas. We're going with our middle school basketball team. I forget exactly when it is but it should be a lot of fun and I hope we will do some winning. Then we have Nationals. Its a tournament in Springfield Missouri. Its the biggest tournament in the nation and its all home schoolers. Its gonna be a blast. I'll be playing with the high school there since I'll be moving up next year. should be awesome. I don't think I'll get to play much but it'll be worth it.

The amount of violence on tv.

I don't really have an opinion on this. Not yet anyway. I'm still learning and being taught smartness, and I don't mean sarcastically. I don't know everything there is to know yet and I think everyone should keep their minds open. you never know who's opinion might help put yours in the right place. Your opinion could be right and wrong at the same time. If you can use others opinions to help shape your own, then you can master the debating table. The mind is a hard thing to master. I think violence on t.v might not always be a good thing. But I don't think its always a bad thing.

If cows gave out root beer instead of milk.

If cows gave out root beer instead of milk, we would have to find some better cereals. There would be absolutely no dairy products. Root beer and cookies left out for Santa. There wouldn't be a source of calcium. Until people discovered goats milk. Then goats milk would no longer be goats milk. It would take on the head roll of milk, and would no doubt be used for all the other purposes that cows milk had. What would cows be called if they gave out root beer instead of milk? Would their name change? Or would it stay the same? These are the questions that haunt me. We would still have milk but what would the goats be called? Would they become cows? Would their name have been goats to begin with? The world could be turned upside down and yet stay completely normal.

A dull evening

A dull evening is an evening where nothing is happening. There are no events to go to. There are no people to talk to. There is nothing to watch on t.v. (Then again, when IS there something to watch on t.v?) There is nothing to do at the house that you haven't done fifteen times already. There are no movies to watch that you haven't seen a million times already. There is no money for you to go out and rent another movie, and if there was, most of the people in the house want to watch an oldie, an oldie that everyone's seen a million times. There is nothing to talk about because nothing is going on right now, Otherwise it wouldn't be a dull evening. There's nothing to eat that you haven't already had a thousand times. You can't even do school because you're already a month ahead. There's nothing to drink because everything that you could drink only tastes good with certain food, food that you don't have. There aren't even Taxes to file! There's no music to listen to. There's no work to be done. There's no fun to be had. There is nothing to do but sleep, and even that can't be done because the dogs are so loud and playful that you can't close your eyes for two seconds.

Cisco

We're currently dog-sitting a dog named Cisco. He's a Blue Healer puppy. He's about as tall as a chair on all fours. His fur is gray with black spots and a white streak starting at his chin and ending at his lower chest. He's full of energy and loves to play. He likes it when you get down and bark at him and play with his paws. He's got sharp claws and teeth though. He sleeps in the back with me most of the time. He's not fully house trained yet and has done his business in the house many times so far, But he's starting to get the idea. He likes to be scratched behind his ears the most. He seems to have taken to me and Courtney the best. Me because I play with him and Courtney because she cooks. =] He spends his time eating, playing, pooping, and pestering the dog and cats. Neither Buddy nor the cats like him.

I wish i had a million dollars. Then I would....

If I had a million dollars I would first start a bank account and deposit it. Then I would use it to upgrade my family's living, Maybe buy a new house or buy new appliances for us and my extended family. Perhaps buy a car for someone in the family. Then I'd setup some kind of business, so that the cash flow stays steady. I don't just burn it all and then go back to the way it was. Smart spending is the key. I would donate to a couple of charity's. I would definitely not invest in the stock market. I would setup some kind of collage fund or savings account. I would probably give some to my family and friends along with fixing or buying needed things or just broken things in their house. I'd probably spend some amount on me but I don't know what. It would depend on what I wanted or needed at the time.

What my friends say about me.

I honestly have no idea what my friends say about me when I'm not around. I hope they speak of me fondly. I would like to think that they talk about me as if I were there. I think they tell story's about me when I've been around them or when I've done some nutty thing. I don't think they speak badly of me. I would like to think that they talk about my character and what I've done. Not bragging, just talking. I think they talk about stuff we've done in basketball games and stuff like that.

If Everyone lived in space....

If everyone lived in space then living in space wouldn't be a weird or far off thought because it would be the normal thing to do. It still is an interesting thought. Would there be an established government? I think there would have to be to be able to keep everything and everyone straight. Life would definitely be different. What would they live in? What would they wear? What would they eat? I can't really answer these questions, because as far as I know the technology doesn't exist. At least not advanced enough for it to be inexpensive and easy to mass produce. However I think they probably would just eat regular food. As long as it could be preserved correctly it would be fine, No matter what the conditions are.

Good Neighbor

A good neighbor is someone you can trust. Someone who will watch your house while your away or watch your kids while your busy. Someone who will be there when you need them. Almost like a friend.

Bball

Last Friday we played Faith Triumphant. A School in Portales New Mexico. It was a Pretty close game through the first half but we beat them in the end by about twenty points. Bryant Scored 24 of our points. I, amazingly, had two fouls. They played a zone and we played man. We ran our regular zone offense mixed with our man offense.

If i could fly

If I could fly, I would fly as often as I could. High above the clouds, so I wouldn't be seen. I'd try to use flying to my advantage in helping people. There's so many cool things you could do with flying. Seeing the town from high above. Able to travel from town to town quickly. That would be Awesome.

Free time

I like to spend my free time playing basketball or listening to music. Also playing the guitar or piano.

The first day of winter

The first day of winter really doesn't hold anything special for me. You don't see many of the changes until later. The first day of winter feels more like any regular day. The temperature doesn't really change until almost a week later. Snow doesn't come until three or four weeks in, if it comes at all. But there is basketball. That makes it worth it.
